I am a researcher in training at the Newcastle University. I am investigating how children teach each other the intricacies of reading comprehension when challenged with complex texts.

In addition, I am part of The School in the Cloud team: a unique initiative by Dr. Sugata Mitra devoted to promoting Self-Organized Learning Environments (SOLEs) for children. With seven unique SOLEs in India and the United Kingdom, we are interested in understanding how students learn at the edge of chaos, that is, how students self-organize to teach each other what is considered advance knowledge in traditional education. We are also testing the limits of SOLEs and its implications for the future of learning.
